[ OVERVIEW ]
This cabin started its life over 20 years ago in an Arctic onshore wind farm before being rebuilt by OUT & ABOUT as a fully self-sustaining off-grid stay. It sits alone above a remote fjord in Northern Norway, far from roads or signal.
Reaching it requires a long approach — up to 25 kilometers depending on season. In winter, the northern lights often move directly over the ridge; in summer, the light barely disappears at all.
Inside, the nacelle is engineered for real Arctic cold. Insulated, heated, and equipped only with what is essential: bed, water, fire, and horizon.
This is not a curated escape. It is a full disconnection where weather, light and silence replace every digital demand.
